| Abstract | Substituent effects on the kinetics of the silver (I) ion catalysed reaction of dialkyl disulphides with sulphinates ions in aqueous dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO) have been investigated. The results are consistent with the previous proposed mechanism involving a bimolecular rate-determining step. |
