Abstract
This paper deals with four dated Lihyanite inscriptions discovered by the author. They were engraved on the surfaces of the red sandstone rocks of Jabal Umm Daraj in the city of al-‘Ulā (the ancient city of Dedan, the capital of the Lihyanite kingdom). In the study, the four inscriptions are read and analyzed. Their importance lies in two main things. One is that they are dated. The other is that they reveal the name of a new hitherto unknown Lihyanite king.
