| Abstract |
Backing up a truck to a loading dock is a difficult nonlinear control problem. Interesting applications of backpropagation (BP) learning to solve this problem have been proposed. However, BP requires extensive training. In this paper, we propose a solu'tionbased on the adaptive critic learning. The proposed scheme is considered as a first attempt towards solving Truck Backer-Upper (TBU) using this kind oflearning. Results obtained through computer simulation ofTBU are presented. |
