| Abstract | In this paper the design and implementation of a simple decoder for displaying the Arabic Numerals using the standard (5x7) dot-matrix display is presented. The decoder is built around off-the-shelf single-chip user-programmable EPROM device. Using such technique makes the decoder design simple, cheap and flexible to modify the shape of the fonts and even to display any other language. |
