Source Journal of King Saud University. Languages & Translation. Volume 15, No 1. (2003/1423)
Abstract The structure of the Persian language sentence, whether it is simple, compound or complet is formed from the basic elements, which are known both to the researcher and student. Adverbs in the Persian language are not essential in the constriction of any kind of sentences, since a head verb always comes as complementary element to the subject. More precisely the adverb comes as a complementary to the verb whether it comes at the beginning or the middle of the sentence, to determine the verb tense, place, statement, quality, reason or reaction. This study aims to classify the adverbs in the Persian language on a morphological basis depending on the descriptive concept which deals with the description of the selected lingual models as they are in the target language without any addition or omission by the researcher plus the determination of the time and place of issue of these models, followed by the selection of one of the main concepts for this method of the study which known among linguists as follows: 1. Phonetic Study to the model 2. Morphological Study of the Model 3. Grammatical Study of the Model 4. Semantic Study of the Model
