| Abstract | This paper attempts to study the shape and content of nine English poems translated into Arabic by the machine translation program Alwafi. The study deals with the linguistic, as well as, the aesthetic aspects of the translated poems. The poems were selected trom different ages beginning with the sixteenth century. The poems were introduced in two versions. The first version shows the poems in their original spelling system. In the second version, the same poems were modernized into contemporary English. |
