Abstract
This research is concerned with curriculum evaluation for architectural education for the Department of Architecture & Building Sciences-College of Architecture & Planning - King Saud University. It is based on the point of view of the architectural design students. The research emphasizes the most important components of the curriculum. They are the courses and their respective faculty members. The intent is to benefit from the results of this applied research, and to develop the department's educational program. It is also the complimentary part of the self - evaluation, which the department adapted since 1420H. To achieve this, an already designed and approved questionnaire by the university was used and distributed to the targeted group. Responses were then analyzed. Two categories were derived to; the positives and the negatives of the current program. The positives one to hold on, and the negative are to treat or eliminate. This research, therefore, will facilitate future decisions concerning the curriculum.
