| Abstract |
Recreation, recreation sites, recreation behavior, public gardens, private chalets, amusement parks, restaurants, open desert lands outside the city, paved sides of roads. Abstract. In the last three decades, the city of Riyadh has extended dramatically to the extent that it became difficult for its citizen to reach its traditional recreational sites in the outskirts of the city. With these changes in the urban fabric, many of the human activities have changed too. Among which were recreational patterns in forms of behavior and preferences. Because of these changes, the role of this research comes to bridge the gap in knowledge about people’s preferences and behavior in regard to recreational sites and activities in the city of Riyadh. |
