Abstract Culture is a main element that if found in any community will play a big role in the raise of the individuals of that community, their ability in carrying out debate and going far from fanaticism , extremity and violence that lead to terrorism. This study handles the role of general libraries, its activities and programs in confronting the phenomenon of terrorism, taking King Abdul Aziz Library as an example to recognize to what extend the role of libraries can be activated with this regard through carrying out a questionnaire to examine the extend of workers contentedness in their homes to confront the phenomenon of terrorism and obstacles that prevent them from implementing programs pertaining to this subject, addition to analyzing documents and reports that watch and observe the library's activities and programs in general, to explain the trends and directions of these activities.
