| Abstract |
The study tries to uncover how Saudis view themselves and how do they describe themselves and others, and how do they distinguish themselves from others. The study used the survey research method. Questionnaires were used to collect information form a sample of 572 persons using the network sampling method during the period from the middle of march till the end of April 2004. The results shows that Saudis differentiate between governments and peoples of the world. They show a general positive attitude (friendly) towards most countries and people except for the government and people of Israel. Regarding the western nations, Saudis show negative attitudes towards people of USA (55%), and (47%), towards the people of England. The attitudes Arab countries were very positive. |
