Title The Rating of Managers Attitudes Toward the Application of Oeganizational Development in Saudi Buisness Organizations

Abstract The present paper aims at measuring and identifying the managers attitudes toward the application of organizational development in Saudi business organizations. In addition, the study aims to investigate the relationship between the personal and organizational variables of managers and their attitudes towards O.D. Moreover, this study seeks to compare Saudi and Non-Saudi managers in terms of their attitudes towards the application of O.D. in order to achieve these goals, the results of related previous studies were reviewed, and several statistical methods were employed and the following results were obtained: O.D was strongly supported by managerial leaders in Saudi business organizations. Statistical results showed that managers attitudes towards O.D are influenced by some of managers personal and organizational characteristics such as: nationality (Saudi, Non-Saudi), managerial level, age, major, firms activity, and size of firm. Regarding comparison between Saudi and Non-Saudi managers in terms of their attitudes towards O.D, the analysis revealed that Saudi leaders hold stronger attitudes toward the application of O.D than Non-Saudi managers. Several recommendations were provided at the end of the study as well as suggestions for future researches.
