| Abstract | This research aims at illustrating the concept of affluent people both lignuistically and according to the scholars’ definition. The research also explores the effects of this group on the members of society and sheds light on the methods affluent people use in standing obstinately in the face of the Prophets who were sent to them. Finally, the resarch explores the reasons behind their negative attitude and the outcome of their destiny both in this world and in the Hereafter. |
