| Abstract |
This research deals with Ibn Al-Asha'th and his military expedition in the Turkish lands. It also deals with his dispute with al-Hajjaj, his superior, and the attitude of the soldiers concerning this dispute. In this re-search, I have also shed light on some factors that enkindled this dispute, such as Iraqi fanaticism, the role of the non-Iraqis, and the nature ofIraqi society. Then I exposed, in general, the attitude of the Omayyad state towards Ibn Al-Asha'th and the most significant results caused by his forsaking of it. |
