| Abstract | The availability of geomorphological information is valuable for environmental management and natural resources evaluation. However, geomorphological studies in the Al-Quwayiyah region are scarce. The geomorphological map is a method that can provide an outline of landforms. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to construct a medium scale geomorphological map of the Al-Quwayiyah drainage basin. Thus this paper presents a geomorphological map that portrays, in their spatial relationships, the major landforms in the basin. Besides, it provides a thorough description of the main geomorphological features and their development. |
