| Abstract |
This study aims to identify the most important problems encountered by Jordanian exporters of cut-flowers to European markets. The data was collected from 30 farms by using self-administrated questionnaire and it was analyzed by using chi-square test and discriminant analysis. The main findings of the study were: 1. Transportation, warehousing, cost of marketing activities and foreign competition found to be the most important problems encountered by cut-flowers exporting to European markets. 2. The types of the relative important of the problems encountered by Jordanian exporters of cut-flowers to European markets were differed based on their sales volume of exporting and length of experience in exporting. On the basis of these results, the study includes various applications for the exporters of cut-flowers. |
