| Abstract |
Manual cartographic digitizing is still commonplace worldwide. To achieve maximum benefit from it; digitizing tables should regularly be subjected to calibration tests. This paper describes a simple and direct technique of assessing the cartographic accuracy of some digitizing tables to attest that they perform satisfactorily. The method also serves a good purpose for those cartographers who intend to purchase new equipment or update their existing tables. |
